HSE University Ranks Third Among Russian Law Schools for Graduates’ Salaries

HSE University has risen from fourth to third place in the Superjob University Ranking in terms of the salaries made by young professionals in the legal field who graduated in 2014–2019. According to the ranking’s authors, our graduates can expect to earn an average of 100,000 rubles a month in Moscow.

The Superjob website (a job search platform) has published a ranking of law schools in Russia in 2020 set according the salaries received by their 2014-2019 graduates. HSE University came in third after Moscow State University, which took the first place, and MGIMO and St. Petersburg State University, which both tied for second place. In turn, HSE University graduates in Moscow make an average of 100,000 roubles a month. Compared with the previous ranking, this figure increased by 10,000 roubles, according to Superjob.

 

HSE University’s Faculty of Law offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes in various branches of Law. Similar to last year, HSE University has joined the leaders in A+ group alongside MIPT and ITMO. A total of 207 universities from 69 Russian regions participated in the ranking. In 2024, over 35,000 students were enrolled in AI-related programmes at these universities.

One of its components is a ranking of English-language websites of Russian universities, with HSE University maintaining the top position.

HSE University among Top Universities in Digital Economy

HSE University took second place in the new 2023 ranking of universities in the digital economy in Moscow and St Petersburg, having lost only to Bauman Moscow State Technical University. HSE University outperformed specialised IT universities such as Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (third place) and ITMO University (fifth place), as well as Moscow State University (fourth place).

Shanghai Ranking Names HSE Top Russian University in 11 Subjects

HSE University is this year’s leading Russian university in 11 subjects in the Shanghai Ranking. In seven of these, the university is the only Russian higher education institution to appear. This year, the university was ranked among the top universities for Communications for the first time and returned to the ranking for Sociology.
